The difference is not whether AI is used, but whether usage records and control remain with the company.

Training use can be disabled

Under the default settings for the enterprise account, inputs and outputs are not used for model training.

If conversation rating is used, that conversation may be used for training, so we disable the feature in the organisation settings when service starts.

Only necessary information is available to administrators

Administrators can review users, times, and activity records, but cannot view conversation content by default. Separate permission is required for a legitimate review such as an audit, and every access is logged.

Records required for operational control are retained, while individual work content is protected to the extent necessary.

The base capacity is 10 GB per person, and company-wide capacity is headcount × 10 GB. A user can continue working above their individual allowance while the company remains within its total capacity. To prevent account sharing, each seat can be signed in on up to two PC or app devices at the same time.

Infrastructure and data retention

Internal material: Indexed materials are stored separately in a dedicated area for each customer
Personal data: We provide guidance and checks to prevent personal identifiers from being entered during document creation
Account ownership: AI accounts are opened in the customer's name, and we handle payment only. The account and its data remain with the customer after the contract ends

Avoiding external AI entirely requires an on-premises setup using internal servers and GPUs. Build costs and operating scope are determined through consultation. The standard setup is a hybrid of an internal Harness and external AI inference.
